Lake Forest Master Community Association

The Lake Forest Master Community Association, Inc. (Association) is a Florida Corporation (Chapter 617 Florida State Statutes) that oversees the management of our community. The Association is also governed by Florida Statute Chapter 720 (Homeowners Associations) and by our governing documents (Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws and Master Declaration). The voting members of the association are made up of homeowners in good standing with membership an automatic privilege of ownership within the community. The Association is authorized by state law and its governing documents to manage revenues, including annual assessments, and expenditures necessary to conduct the business of the Association.

The Association maintains the common areas and the amenities of the Association and also manages the relationship between the Association and its residents. The Association is also responsible for enforcing the rules and policies of the Association which are intended to protect the interest of the members.

Residents of Lake Forest in good standing may run for and be elected to the Board of Directors by Association members during annual elections. At the present time, the Board is comprised of seven (7) residents who serve staggered 3-year terms. All residents are encouraged to attend monthly Board meetings at which association business is conducted by the Board. The agenda for the monthly meeting is placed on the Association web page and on the front door of the clubhouse in advance of the meeting and minutes of the meeting, upon approval by the Board, are also placed on the website.

All common areas of the Association including amenities (swimming pool, fitness center, volleyball area, tennis courts, basketball court, pickleball courts and recreational field) are available to all members in good standing and their invited guests. These amenities are included in the annual dues paid by members without additional cost. Board approved rules and policies are in place to ensure the fair and safe use of these amenities.
